The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society is a non-profit organization that has been helping cats and dogs in our area since 1972. Whether you're looking for the perfect pet to adopt, wanting to get involved by fostering or volunteering, needing help getting your own animals neutered, or just looking for helpful information, you've come to the right place!

Pets of the Week

Jimmy (ID #26307) is a gregarious 1 year old white cat with tabby markings. He loves to explore and will be one of the first kitties to greet you when you enter the cat area. Jimmy has a kind and intelligent eye, you can just tell that he is always looking for a way to catch your attention. Jimmy gets along great with other cats. He is sure to make a fantastic companion for many years in his new home!

Whitney (ID #26241) is a beautiful young adult mixed breed dog. She is brown and white with some faint merle markings in her coat and she has blue eyes, leading us to think that she may be part Australian Shepherd. Whitney was a stray and her owner has not come forward, so she is ready for a fresh start with a new family. This sweet girl has plenty of energy. She would make a wonderful jogging buddy and all around great friend if you choose Whitney for adoption!
