The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society is a non-profit organization that has been helping cats and dogs in our area since 1972. Whether you're looking for the perfect pet to adopt, wanting to get involved by fostering or volunteering, needing help getting your own animals neutered, or just looking for helpful information, you've come to the right place!

Pets of the Week

Rosie (ID #17191) is a pretty tabby kitty. She’s less than 1 year old and was found by a nice person who wanted to make sure Rosie would be safe and brought her to the humane society. Rosie is cheerful and social. She likes to chirp and purr and would be a great kitty to come home to after a day at work. Rosie would always make you feel like you are her special friend. Wouldn’t you like to add this sweet girl to your family?

Lilly (ID #17113), is a lovely adult mixed breed dog. She probably has some hound in her background and possibly heeler or setter. She is a gorgeous girl with a tri-color head and her body is white with brown flecks throughout her coat. Lilly’s behavior indicates that she has had some training. She walks well on leash and listens to her handler. Lilly weighs 60 lbs., so she would do great in a home where can stretch her legs and get regular exercise. Do you want a walking partner or jogging buddy, Lilly might be just the girl for you!
