The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society is a non-profit organization that has been helping cats and dogs in our area since 1972. Whether you're looking for the perfect pet to adopt, wanting to get involved by fostering or volunteering, needing help getting your own animals neutered, or just looking for helpful information, you've come to the right place!

Pets of the Week

Biz (ID #24579) is a gorgeous 8 year old tabby girl. She was brought to the humane society because a family member developed allergies to cats and Biz had to move out. She has large, beautiful golden eyes and a gentle disposition. Biz is a people cat. She loves company and will follow you around more like a dog. Biz gets along with other cats and she is declawed so will need an indoor home. Are you able to give Biz another chance at her forever home?

Nick (ID #24664) is a cute little 3 month old mixed breed puppy. He appears to have a lot of Beagle in him, which would account for his sweet personality. Nick is brown and white with interesting brindle markings on his face. Nick is part of a large unwanted litter so he has several brothers and sisters that are also ready for their forever homes. Come and pick one of these cuties to make your family complete!
