The Danville-Boyle County Humane Society is a non-profit organization that has been helping cats and dogs in our area since 1972. Whether you're looking for the perfect pet to adopt, wanting to get involved by fostering or volunteering, needing help getting your own animals neutered, or just looking for helpful information, you've come to the right place!
Pets of the Week
Denise (ID #21319) is a pretty 3 year old tabby and white kitty. Even though she was found as a stray, she has a very sweet personality and will come right up to you for attention. Denise has lovely hazel eyes that reach out and say “please look at me”. Denise has the temperament to fit in most any family and she will provide great company and love.
Calvin (ID #21284) is a young adult shepherd mix that was found running loose in town. We hoped his owners would come to reclaim him, but that hasn’t happened so now he needs a new start in a new home. Calvin is friendly and gets along with other dogs. He is very active and will do best with a family willing to give him plenty of exercise and love.
